Working remotely on a contract basis, the Lighting Artist will create compelling lighting for characters and environments, ensuring aesthetic continuity and solving creative and technical challenges. Key responsibilities Collaborate with supervisors and leads to develop consistent lighting styles for various characters and environments Utilize Unreal Engine to execute lighting assignments and generate final renders for approval Address creative and technical problems using new tools and techniques while maintaining aesthetic quality Required qualifications Previous professional experience in character lighting Experience with Unreal Engine and Perforce (p4v) or a willingness to learn Strong understanding of visual quality, composition, color, lighting, perspective, and scale Knowledge of roto, paint, keying, clean-up, and color correction is preferred Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and take direction well
